Introduction

Ingredients

    2.5 cups unsalted butter (5 sticks)
    4 large eggs
    0.5 cup water
    5 pound box of Gold Medal White Cake Mix

    Aproximately 2 pounds of you choice of these suggested mix-ins:
    *chocolate chips *chopped nuts *gumdrops *red hots *toffee bits *peanut butter chips

Directions

Cream 2.5 cups butter using paddle attachment on medium speed until fluffy (approximately 3 minutes.) Add 4 large eggs and 0.5 cup water slowly while mixing on medium speed for 3 minutes or until blended. Add one full box (5 lb) cake mix. Mix on low speed for 30 seconds or until ingredients are blended. Stop mixer. Scrape bowl and paddle. Add approximately 2 lobs of cookie variation ingredients. Mix on low speed for 30 seconds or until ingredients are blended. DO NOT OVERMIX. Deposit 2 oz. of dough (No. 20 scoop) onto a greased or paper-lined sheet pan. Bake 12-15 minutes in a 300 degree Convection Oven or 15-17 minutes in a 350 degree Standard Oven. [NOTE: Rotate cookies baked in a Convection Oven one half-turn (180 degrees) after 4 minutes of baking.]
