My Grandfather's Bourbon Balls

Introduction

This is a double batch. Makes very strong tasting bourbon balls. This is a double batch. Makes very strong tasting bourbon balls.
Number of Servings: 80

Ingredients

    Sifted Confectoner's Sugar, 3 cups
    Light Corn Syrup, 6 Tbls
    Bourbon, 1 1/2 cups (for strong tasting Bourbon Balls)
    Semi-sweet Chocolate Bits, 1 cup
    Chopped pecans, 3 cups
    Crushed Vanilla Wafers, 8 cups

Directions

Mix sugar, corn syrup and bourbon in large mixing bowl. Melt chocolate bits in microwave and stir into mixture. Stir in pecans and vanilla vafers. Mix well, roll into balls, coat with confectioner's sugar and store in airtight container.

Serving Size: makes 80 one-inch balls
