Crockpot Chili

Introduction

Perfect winter dish to warm your cold hands and fill an empty stomach! Serve with warm cornbread. Perfect winter dish to warm your cold hands and fill an empty stomach! Serve with warm cornbread.
Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    1.5 lbs Beef, top sirloin, cubed
    1/2 onion, diced
    28 oz can of black beans
    15 oz can of kidney beans
    28 oz can of petite cut diced tomatoes
    2 Tbsp chili powder
    1 Tbsp garlic powder
    1 jalapeno pepper, deveined and diced
    2.5 C cheddar cheese, shredded (as garnish)
    Salt & Pepper to taste

Directions

Place meat in bottom of crockpot, sprinkle with salt, pepper, chili powder, and garlic powder, and ensure meat is covered with seasonings.

Add diced onion, tomatoes, and jalapeno peppers. Cook on low for approximately 6 hours.

Add canned beans (undrained) and cook for additional 2 hours.

Dish up and serve with dollop of sour cream, sprinkle of cheese, and diced onions (as desired).
