Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 Lb extra lean beef stew meat (cut into 1/2 inches)
    1 medium onion (cut into eighths)
    1 8ounce package of baby carrots
    1 14 1/2 ounce can diced tomatoes, undrained
    1 10 1/2 ounce condensed beef broth
    1/3 c all-purpose flour
    1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
    1 Package McCormick Beef Stew Seasoning Mix
    1 cup red wine
    1 pound small red or fingerling potatoes, cut to equal size of carrot and onion
    2 cups sliced mushrooms (about 5 oz)

Directions

This makes 8 servings.

Heat oven to 325 Degrees

Mix all ingredients (except potato and mushroom) in ovenproof 4 quart Dutch oven. Cover and bake 2 hours stirring once.

Stir in potatoes and mushrooms. Bake 1 - 1 1/2 hours or until the beef and vegetables are tender.

This is good on it's own, but friends like to put this over noodles or biscuits. Enjoy!
