12 slices Light 100% Whole Wheat Bread-
2 cups Milk, 1%,
1 1/2 cups Egg substitute, liquid (Egg Beaters), 1.5 cup
1 tsp Vanilla Extract,
1 tsp Cinnamon, ground,
1/2 cup, packed Brown Sugar,
2 TBS Butter, salted,
1/4 cup Maple Syrup,
whisk milk, egg subsittue, vanilla and cinnamon, pour over bread, cover and chill up to 1 day.
To serve, preheat oven to 350ºF. Mix butter with brown sugar and sprinkle over the top of casserole. Bake for 1 hour until a knive inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool 20 minutes and cut into 6 servings. Serve with 2 tsp warm maple syrup.
