Pumpkin Pie Smoothie

Introduction

Cool, delicious, seasonal breakfast on-the-go! Cool, delicious, seasonal breakfast on-the-go!
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    1 c non-dairy milk, unsweetened
    1/2 c pumpkin puree (or other squash)
    1 frozen banana, chunked
    1 TBSP cinnamon (or less if you don't like it as spicey)
    1-2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
    1 scoop protein powder (I used 2 TBSP hemp protein)
    OR
    1/4 c oats
    OR
    1-2 TBSP chia seeds (let smoothie rest in fridge for a few minutes for chia seeds to thicken)

Directions

Add everything to a blender and blend until smooth. Best when really, really cold.

No frozen bananas? Try adding ice.

Want more smoothie? Double everything, or just double the almond milk for a small calorie increase.

Not sweet enough? Try adding 1 TBSP of maple syrup (for 50 additional calories), 2 big dates (for 50 additional calories), 1-2 TBSP sugar (for 50 additional calories), or some stevia (for 0 additional calories).
