Introduction

yummy as soup or served over rice yummy as soup or served over rice
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    In olive oil saute:
    2 tablespoons chopped garlic
    1 med onion chopped
    2 med carrots, chopped
    3 stalks of celery, copped
    1 med potato, chopped
    Add
    1 tsp salt
    1/4 tsp black pepper
    1 tsp dried marjoram
    1 tsp dried italian seasoning
    When onions are clear, Add:
    1 cup lentils
    4 cups water.

    let simmer, adjust for flavor and water. Do not over cook or lentils will become mushy.
