Apple Pie Pumpkin Seeds

Introduction

delicious, low-cal/sugar free sweet treat for the holidays delicious, low-cal/sugar free sweet treat for the holidays
Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    ~ 1 c pumpkin seeds
    1/4 c raw apple juice
    1/4 c sweetener (i used xylitol)
    2 tbsp grapeseed (or other) oil
    2 tsp pumpkin pie spice (or cinnamon)
    1/4 tsp salt

Directions

pre-heat oven to 250

Soak seeds in apple juice for about 15 min (or longer)
Mix sugar/spice/salt in bowl and set aside

Drain pumpkin seeds and toss them in sugar mixture

Spread them out on a cookie sheet and bake them for about an hour or until they're toasty brown and crispy
