Rice & Hummus Base

Ingredients

    Long Grain Brown Rice (1/4 Cup Dry), 1 cup
    Del Monte Sweet Peas no salt added, 1 cup
    green onion, raw (1 whole stalk), 2 serving
    lentil bouillon, 1 serving
    Broccoli, fresh, 1 cup, chopped or diced

Directions

Follow the package instructions for the rice in adding that much water(+1/2 cup water for veggies) and add the lentil and dry rice to the water.
Once the water is boiling add your chopped green onions and your washed canned peas(or frozen peas) to the water and stir occasionally until the rice is done.

After all the food is done, serve with homemade or store bought hummus on the side(and feel free to mix in!)

Serving Size: Makes 5 servings
