Mashed Turnips

Ingredients

    2 lbs. turnips, cleaned and peeled
    1/2 c. whole milk
    3 Tbsp. butter

Directions

Cut turnips into small, regular chunks
Boil until tender (about 10 minutes)
Warm milk and melt butter in it
Dry turnips in now empty boiling pan
Rice half of turnips
Add milk and butter mix
Rice second half of turnips
Mix and season to taste

Serving Size: 29 one ounce servings
