Walnuts, 2.5 cup, ground
*Whole Wheat Flour, 2/3 cup
Salt, 1 tsp
Flax Seed Meal (ground flax), 2/3 cup
*Chocolate Chips or carob chips 1/3 cup
Pure Maple Syrup, 1/2 cup + 2 Tbsp
Vanilla Extract, 2 tsp
Preheat oven to 350.
Spray large double insulated cookie sheet with non stick spray.
Drop dough on cookie sheet with a spoon and flatten slightly with a fork.
Bake for 10 - 15 mins or until golden brown, checking often to prevent burning.
(they can burn easily and become too dark)
Cool before removing from the cookie sheet.
Makes 16 3" cookies.
