Trice's Chicken de Provanc

Introduction

I made this for dinner tonight I don't know if I saw this somewhere or not but this came out great. I made this for dinner tonight I don't know if I saw this somewhere or not but this came out great.
Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    1 skinless bone in chicken breast
    1 T. Lemon pepper
    3 T. Herbs de Provance
    1 t. granulated garlic
    1 T. extra virgin olive oil
    s/p to taste

Directions

Dry chicken breast with paper towel. Mix lemon pepper, Herbs de Provance, and granulated garlic. Dredge chicken in herb mixture.
Pour olive oil into hot cast iron skillet and sear chicken on both sides till browned and crispy about 5 minutes each.
Put skillet and chicken into the oven at 375 uncovered for 30 minutes.
Take out and let rest on a plate covered for 10 minutes.
Pour out and carefully wipe out the pan with a paper towel.
Pour 1/2 cup water into hot pan and de glaze pour into Wild Rice.

Serving Size: One chicken breast serves two people.
