Caesar Burger - Sans Bun

Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    8 oz of ground beef
    1 Cup of Romaine lettuce, torn or coarsely chopped
    4 tbsp of parmesean Cheese (light will save you calories)
    2 Cloves of Garlic
    4 tbsp of Light Caesar Dressing
    Mozzarella Cheese to top - recipe calls for processed cheese, I used about 75 grams of partly skimmed shredded instead

Directions

PREHEAT barbecue to medium heat. Mix meat, 3 Tbsp. of the Parmesan cheese and the garlic. Shape into four patties.

GRILL 6 min. on each side or until burgers are cooked through (160F). Top with cheese slices. Continue grilling 1 min. or until cheese begins to melt.

TOSS lettuce with 2 Tbsp. of the dressing and the remaining 1 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese. Spread on patties evenly.
