Ingredients

    3/4c. Black Beans, canned
    1 Egg White
    1/2c. Zucchini, shredded
    3/4c. Red Peppers, chopped
    1tsp. Chili Powder
    1/2tsp. Onion Powder
    1/2tsp. Black pepper
    1/4tsp. Salt
    3/4lb. Ground Turkey, lean

Directions

In a small bowl, coarsely mash beans. Add the egg white, zucchini, red pepper, chili powder, onion powder, pepper and salt. Crumble turkey over mixture and mix well. Shape into patties.

To freeze: Layer patties between wax paper, and place in gallon-size freezer bag(s). Label and freeze.

To serve: Thaw in refrigerator. Grill, or cook in a skillet over medium-high heat for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until juices run clear.

Serving Size: Makes 4 burgers, 1 burger = 1serving
