Cinnamon Hot Cereal

Introduction

Ingredients

    1 cup flaxseeds
    1 cup ground almonds (Trader Joes preferred)
    1/2 cup chia seeds
    1-1/4 cup wheat bran
    1 cup unflavored protein powder
    2 tsp cinnamon

Directions

Grind flaxseed. Lightly toast the ground almonds on a shallow baking pan in the oven for 5 minutes or so.
Combine all ingredients, mix well and store in an airtight container.
Add 1/2 cup of this mix to 3/4 cup boiling water and a pinch of salt. Stir and allow to sit for a few minutes before serving. Sweeten to taste.
