Introduction

I always make this family favorite with the leftover ham from our holiday meal I always make this family favorite with the leftover ham from our holiday meal
Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    2 cups dried Lentils
    1 cup diced celery
    2 carrots, diced
    1 cup chopped onion
    2 cup cubed ham
    3 potatos, diced
    1 ham bone (optional)
    Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

In large pan, add enough water to cover the ham, ham boce, celery, onion and carrot. Simmer till vegetables are tender. Remove any meat from ham bone, then discard bone. Add potatos and lentils. Simmer about 20 - 25 minutes - till potatos and lentils are tender. Season to taste.
