2 chicken sausage w/habanero & jack cheese
chopped and casing removed.
7 oz ground sirloin
3 Lg.bell peppers ,halved and deseeded
1 -2 garlic cloves crushed ( to taste)
1 Large tomato ,peeled and finely chopped
1/2 cup rice.
2 oz mozzarella ,grated
2 oz parmesan grated.
Bring a large pot of water to boil,
Cut the bell peppers in 1/2 lengthwise,remove seeds
cook peppers in the hot water for about 5 -6 minutes until
a bit soft.remove and drain peppers.
In a frying pan add the chopped sausage, ground sirloin and garlic, cook until meat is browned.
let cool. Mix rice and meats togetther mix in the chopped tomato ,
In an ovenproof dish ,add the peppers and stuff thenm with meat mixture, sprinkle with the 2 cheeses and bake for 20 minutes., serve with a garden salad .
