Banana Almond Bread

Introduction

A quick bread or muffin. A quick bread or muffin.
Number of Servings: 16

Ingredients

    1 cup whole wheat flour
    1/2 cup wheat flour
    1 T vanilla
    1 egg
    3/4 cup 2% milk
    3 t baking powder
    1/4 t salt
    1/4 cup dark agave nectar
    3 ripened bananas
    1/2 cup almond pieces
    4 T room temperature butter

Directions

Combine wet ingredients in a bowl with a mixer. This includes the bananas, vanilla, egg, butter, milk, and agave nectar. Add dry ingredients to the bowl, continue to mix. Fold in almond pieces with a spatula.

Distribute to muffin tins or loaf pan that has been sprayed with non-stick spray.

Bake at 375 for 30 minutes if making muffins; Bake at 375 for 60 minutes if making bread.

Serving Size: makes 1 loaf or 18 muffins
