Homemade Ham, Salami, Mushroom Pizza

Number of Servings: 18

Ingredients

    Dough:
    1 1/2 cups warm water
    1 TBSP quick rise yeast
    1 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp sugar
    1/4 cup canola oil
    4-5 cups white flour

    Toppings
    1 cup tomato, spaghetti, or pizza sauce
    3 cups shredded part skim mozzarella cheese
    5 oz low fat ham, cut into small bits
    4 oz salami, cut into small bits
    1/2 cup canned mushrooms
    Add additional veggie toppings as desired

Directions

Makes 18 squares (servings) if using a cookie sheet pan.

Mix the first six ingredients in order given. Knead for a few minutes and let rise for 30 - 60 minutes. Line a cookie sheet or two 12" pizza pans with parchment paper. Stretch and pat dough to fit pan(s). Bake dough in 350 F for 5-7 minutes for a thicker crust. Pre-cooked or not, first spread dough with sauce, then 1/3 of the cheese, all the meat and mushrooms, then top with the remaining cheese. Bake in 400 F oven for 15 - 20 minutes or until crust edges and cheese are lightly browned. Remove from oven and allow to rest for about a minute. Cut and enjoy.
