Steamed Pork

Introduction

My mother-in-laws authentic dish from Taiwan. My mother-in-laws authentic dish from Taiwan.
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    2 lbs ground pork, lean
    1 bunch of spinach, washed and chopped
    2 bunches green onions, chopped
    1/4 - 1/2 cup soy paste (to taste)
    1 tsp. sesame oil
    1 tsp. black pepper

Directions

Mix all ingredients well. Place in metal or high-temp glass dish that can be placed inside another pot. Place on steaming rack in large pot. Place 1-2" water in bottom of pot (so as not to just barely touch the bottom of the dish). Cover and bring water to boil. Reduce heat to medium. Boil water for 35-45 minutes or until meat is cooked through.
Serve over rice . Add steamed or sauted vegetables as a side.
