2c Whole wheat flour
3tsp baking powder
1c apple, diced
Combine all dry ingredients thoroughly. Wisk together milk, applesauce, & egg in separate bowl.
Pour wet on top of dry and fold together (with fruit chunks if using) just until moistened.
Scoop evenly into muffin tin and let rest for 10-15 minutes.
Bake for 15-20 min; test with toothpick.
