Nutty Muesli

Ingredients

    6 c. old fashioned oats
    1 1/2 c. pecans, chopped
    1 1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
    1/2 c. roasted/salted sunflower seeds
    1 c. slivered almonds
    1/2 c. dry-roasted peanuts
    1 T. ground cinnamon
    1 c. raisins (not packed)
    1/2 c. golden seedless raisins (not packed)

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 F.

Chop any nuts that aren't already chopped. In two glass bakeware dishes (I use a 9x13 & an 8x8, both Pyrex) layer all ingredients except raisins.

Roast in oven for 30 minutes, opening every 10 minutes to stir. After muesli is finished roasting, stir in raisins. Store in emptied oats cylindrical boxes or in a large canister.

Sweeten individual servings with honey, Splenda or brown sugar, as desired. Cover with nonfat milk or soy milk & enjoy!

Yields 25 1/2-cup servings.
