Warm Brussel Sprout Salad

Introduction

Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1 lb of fresh brussel sprouts
    1 medium shallot minced
    3 cloves of garlic minced
    1.5 Tbs of Olive Oil
    2 Tbs of Balsamic Vinager
    Half a package of Hormel Real Bacon (1pkg is 122g so use 60 or so)
    1/4 cup of reduced sodium chicken broth
    1/4 cup of dried cranberries

Directions

Quarter and stem the fresh brussel sprouts
Heat Olive Oil in large skillet
Add Bacon and saute until warmed through
Add Brussel Sprouts and Toss in oil/bacon mixture
Add Shallots and Garlic and stir well
Saute mixture for approx 2 minutes
Add Chicken Broth and Drizzle with Balsamic Vinager
Cook for an additional 4 minutes or until Brussel Sprouts are just tender
Serve Warm
