Mom's Apple Pie

Ingredients

1 9" deep dish pie crust
5-7 apples, mixed variety (Rome, Macintosh, etc)
1/2 c sugar
1 t. Cinnamon, ground
1/2 c sugar
3/4 c flour
1/3 c butter
Tips
The secret is using more than one kind of apple.
Directions
Peel and thinly slice apples. Place in pie shell. It will be piled high.
Mix 1/2 c sugar and the cinnamon together. Sprinkle on apples.
In med bowl, mix 1/2 c sugar, the flour together. Cut in butter til the mix is full of small crumbles. Carefully pile on to the apples.
Bake 40 minutes at 400 degrees.
