IntroductionThis is my grandmother's sugar cookie recipe. They are light and crispy, but not very sweet, which makes them ideal for frosting. This is my grandmother's sugar cookie recipe. They are light and crispy, but not very sweet, which makes them ideal for frosting.
3 Cups Flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 Cup Butter
1 Cup sugar
You can also just take a small spoon of dough, roll it into a ball and then press them a bit for cookies that are circles.
2. Beat the eggs and sugar until it is almost white.
3. Add the rest of the ingredients to the egg and sugar mixture.
4. Roll the dough out onto a floured surface. Cut cookies out and bake them at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
Serving Size: Makes about 44 cookies that are about 2" in diameter
