Introduction

Pillsbury converted to Betty Crocker with added apples. Pillsbury converted to Betty Crocker with added apples.
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    Fruit Mixture-
    10 cups sliced apples
    1 teaaspoon cinnamon
    1 tablespoon water
    1 teaspoon lemon juice
    1 tablespoon sugar

    Topping-
    1/2 cup rolled oats
    1/4 cup all purpose flour
    1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
    1/4 cup butter softened

Directions

1) Heat oven to 350. Place fruit in ungreased 9x14 pan. Sprinkle with cinnamon, water and lemon juice.

2) In large bowl, combine all topping ingredients. With pastry blender or fork, mix until crumbly. Sprinkle evenly over fruit.

3) Bake at 350.for 25 to 35 minutes or until fruit is tender and topping is golden brown. Serve warm with cream, ice cream or whipped cream if desired.
