I have made this recipe many times, and it's just as good with chicken as it is with tuna. Also, substituting raisins for the cranberries and adding celery is pretty awesome too! Very flexible recipe, as you can see, and very fresh and light. Jum jum!! - 1/14/08

This was SO GOOD! It's got everything I was looking for: Protein, low fat, creamy, sweet, savory. It's awesome. Usually I'm hungry about two hours after lunch, but not with this! I ate it with two Wasa crackers and that's all I needed.

    Thanks for submitting this DAQUIRI_CHERI!! - 4/8/08

I don't like mayo, so I used plain non-fat yogurt, which is really good! - 1/4/08

  • I loved the additions, great way to beef it up and add more substance without a lot of calories. DH was not too thrilled but he eats tuna straight from the can so what does he know. - 4/28/13

  • We love this. I double the recipe and get 4 servings out of it. I'm surprised that the apple doesn't turn brown without using lemon. I've discarded my old tuna salad recipe since discovering this one. Yummmmm - 1/14/12

  • I was reluctant to try this with tuna, have had something similar with chicken. I am glad I got out of my comfort zone and tried something new. This makes ALOT of lunch! I used dried cherries in place of the cranberries and added celery. Thank you for sharing! Very tasty!! - 7/14/11

  • I really liked it. I put it on whole grain bread with romaine and used the lowfat olive oil mayo as well as toning down the apple a little bit. It turned out great. Thanks so much!! - 7/6/11
