A not-too-sweet fall breakfast. A not-too-sweet fall breakfast.
Number of Servings: 10


    Steel cut oats,1.5 c.
    Pumpkin, 1 can (not presweetened pie filling)
    Nonfat milk, 1c
    Water, 2 C
    Brown sugar, .2 Tblp.
    Nutmeg, 1 tsp
    Cinnamon, 3 tsp
    Nonstick cooking spray


Spray slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray. Combine all other ingredients in a bowl first (dry ingredients, pumpkin, then liquids) and empty into slow cooker. Cook on low for 6-7 hours.

Note: I made this far too late at night and may be off on the amount of water. It should fill most of a large round slow cooker.

Serving Size: Makes 10 servings
