Lentil, Grain, and vegie soup

Introduction

Ingredients

    2 1/4 cup dry lentils
    4 cups vegetable broth
    15 cups of water
    1 cup brown rice
    15 oz can sweet peas (undrained)
    1/2 medium onion
    1 cup sweet corn
    3 cups chopped carrots
    1 cup dry quinoa
    1 cup Marinara Sauce
    2 cloves garlic
    Cayenne Pepper (to taste)
    Garlic Powder (to taste)
    Onion Powder (to taste)
    Poultry seasoning (to taste)

Tips

Start with a pan that can hold at least 6 quarts


Directions

Combine all ingredients except for pasta sauce and seasonings in a large pan.

Bring to a boil, reduce heat, simmer for one hour, stirring occasionally.

Add the pasta sauce. Add the salt. Add Seasonings (Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Poultry seasoning, cayenne pepper) to taste.

Serving Size: Makes 11 delicious 2-cup servings (22 cups of soup all together)
