Lower Fat Fantasy Fudge

Introduction

The classic Fantasy Fudge recipe from the Marshmallow Cream container but with reduced fat evaporated milk and way less butter. The classic Fantasy Fudge recipe from the Marshmallow Cream container but with reduced fat evaporated milk and way less butter.
Number of Servings: 70

Ingredients

    3 cups sugar
    1/4 cup butter or margarine
    2/3 cup lowfat evaporated milk
    1 (12 oz.) pckg. chocolate chips
    1 (7 oz.) jar marshmallow cream
    1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
    1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

Combine sugar, butter, and milk in sauce pan and bring to a boil. Continue to boil over medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. (Do not scrape sides of pan at top or you will get crystalized sugar in your fudge, making it gritty).

Remove from heat. Add chocolate chips and stir until completely melted. Add marshmallow cream and vanill and quickly stir until well blended. Pour into greased 9x13 pan. Cool completely at room temperature. Cut into squares.

Makes about 3 pounds.
