2Tbsp Crisco Pure Vegetable Oil
2 stalk Celery chopped, about 1 cup
1 medium Carrots about 1 cup grated
1/4 cup chopped Onion
3 Tbsp Flour
1 1/2 cup cooked Wild Rice
1 Cup Water
10 1/2 oz Chicken Broth - Low Sodium
1/4 black Pepper
Stir in flour and pepper. Stir in wild rice, water, and broth. Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Cover and simmer 15 minutes stirring occasionally.
Stir in milk. add slivered almonds or parsley if desired.
Serving Size: 4 (1 cup servings)
