The Best Blondies

Submitted by: RAWRIGHT26

Introduction

Definitely a decadent treat, but my co-workers love these, so I cut them in very small portions to make it manageable for my diet! Definitely a decadent treat, but my co-workers love these, so I cut them in very small portions to make it manageable for my diet!
Number of Servings: 30

Ingredients

1 c. melted butter or margarine
    2 c. packed brown sugar
    2 eggs, beaten
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. vanilla extract
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. chopped pecans
    1 c. white chocolate chips
3/4 c. caramel baking bits or toffee pieces

Directions

Line a 9X13" baking pan with parchment paper. Spray sides of pan with non-stick vegetable spray and set aside. In a large bowl, mix together butter and brown sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla until mixture is smooth. Stir in flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix in pecans, chips, and baking bits. Pour into prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake at 375 degrees for 30-40 minutes, until set in the middle. Allow to cool in pan before cutting into squares. (original recipe says that it makes 12 servings and to serve with ice cream on top!)

Serving Size: makes 1 9X13" pan ( I cut into 30 pieces)

Number of Servings: 30
