Introduction

Slow cooker pasta sauce dish using Chicken, Shrimp, Garbanzo beans, minced Garlic and Tomatoes. Served over whole grain Penne pasta. Slow cooker pasta sauce dish using Chicken, Shrimp, Garbanzo beans, minced Garlic and Tomatoes. Served over whole grain Penne pasta.

Ingredients

    Shrimp, raw, 19 medium
    Chicken Breast, no skin, 2 units
    Water, tap, 2 cup (8 fl oz)
    Chickpeas (garbanzo beans), 2 cup
    Tomato products, Hunts Diced Tomatoes w/ Basil, Garlic, and Oregano, 7 serving
    Garlic, 9 tsp
    Kikkoman Soy Sauce, 2 tbsp
    Onion powder, .25 tsp
    Allspice, .25 tsp
    Pepper, black, 2 dash
    Cumin seed, .25 tsp
    Ragu Old World Style Traditional Spaghetti Sauce, 680.4 gram(s)
    Barilla Whole Grain Penne, 7 serving

Directions

Spray pot with non-stick cooking spray.
Place chicken in bottom of pot.
Add water.
Add minced garlic.
Add soy sauce.
Add shrimp.
Drain and add garbanzo beans.
Drain and add tomatoes.
Season with black pepper, ground cumin, allspice, onion powder, red pepper flakes and dried oregano flakes.
Cover and set on Low.
About half an hour or so prior to serving, add the Ragu sauce.
Prepare the pasta per instructions on the box.
