Tuna with ginger sauceSubmitted by: TBFAN1982
1 bag frozen tuna steaks, thawed (usually 3-4 steaks a bag)
1 tsp ground ginger
1 TBSP soy sauce
1 bunch green onions
1/3 c. honey
1 1/2 tsp cornstarch
Preheat oven to 450 F.
Place tuna steaks in an oven-safe casserole dish. Salt and pepper if desired.
Mix all ingredients but tuna in a small saucepan on medium heat. Let ingredients come to a boil while stirring. The sauce will be thick and bubbly. Continue to stir for 1 minute more, then remove from heat.
Pour sauce over tuna steaks. Cook in pre-heated oven for 10 minutes.
Makes 3-4 servings.
