Turkey Panini

Introduction

I make these hot sandwhichs in my Panini maker. I also use weight watchers lite rye bread sometimes . Delicious!!! I make these hot sandwhichs in my Panini maker. I also use weight watchers lite rye bread sometimes . Delicious!!!
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    2 to 3 slices Turkey breast
    1 slice kraft 2% white american cheese
    3 medium slices plum tomato
    1/4 cup baby spinach
    2 Joseph's fax, Oatmeal & whole wheat pita pockets
    spray butter or Pam olive oil
    Optional pesto or hummus add extra nutrional value though.

Directions

place turkey, cheese, spinach, and tomatoes on one side of pita (can spread some pesto or hummus if like just add the extra nutrientional information). Then top with other pita. Spray with butter or Pam olive oil to coat the pita. Place in a Panini maker or frying pan butter side down. For Panini maker spray other pita and close panini. In frying pan place foil over pita. then place a weight or anything that is heavy on top. Once grilled on one side spray butter and flip over place weight on top again. If do not like tomatoes can add fresh sliced red peppers.
