Pantry Potato Soup




Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1 pkg. Pioneer peppered gravy mix
    3 c. country style frozen hash browns
    1 qt. chicken broth
    1-1/2 c. water
    1/2 t. salt
    1 t. onion powder
    2 t. dry parsley flakes, or 2 T. chopped fresh parsley
    scallions, shredded cheese, and bacon bits for garnish

Tips

If using fresh parsley, stir in just before serving.


Directions

Prepare gravy as per package directions, using broth instead of water. Add remaining broth and remainder of ingredients to pot. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer about 20 min, until potatoes are soft and flavors have blended.
