Turkey Chilli (Homemade)

Introduction

Ingredients

    1.25 lb Ground turkey
    1 tablespoon of black pepper
    1/4 cup minced White onions
    2 cups spinach
    1 fresh tomato diced
    3 bunches of broccoli (crowns only)
    2 stalk of celery
    1 cup hot sauce (or more to preference)
    1 clove of garlic (minced or fresh)


Tips

~When serving I like to add a tablespoon of shredded cheese, this isn't calculated in the ingredient count since I don't add this all the time.~ this also freezes very well.


Directions

Brown ground turkey, celery onions, and pepper on stovetop in a large skillet. Once this is done I transfer this mixture to the crock pot, and add the remainder of the ingredients. I will allow this to simmer in the crop pot on medium for about 3 -4 hours; in a time pinch, I will cook this for an hour on the crockpot on a higher setting.

Serving Size: Makes about 12, 1 cup serving
