Introduction

A homemade version of a hamburger helper made with seasoned and slow-cooked pork and beef roast frozen just in 6-oz snack bags so an instand hotdish can be assembled when ready. Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    7-8 cups water
    8 oz egg noodles
    3 cups mushrooms, sliced (6 servings)
    3 beef bullion cubes
    16 oz frozen corn (4)
    1 cup onion (2-3)
    1/2 cup green onion, sliced (2)
    1 cup julienned carrots (2)
    3 oz pork tenderloin (slow-roasted)
    3 oz beef roast (slow-roasted)
    1/3 cup non-fat milk powder
    1/2 tsp garlic powder (or minced fresh garlic)
    1/2 tsp black pepper powder
    2 T black soy sauce
    2 T Wondra Flour



Directions

Combine water, mushrooms, carrots and noodles. Simer 10 minutes.

Add remaining ingredients. Simmer another 10 minutes.

Season to taste.

Serving Size: Makes 6 1.5 cup (12 oz) servings.
