Introduction

This is my homemade recipe from my mother-in-law. It is my absolute favorite and I can't eat another. I eat a small portion and include another vegetable. Ingredients

    1 box of Barilla multigrain thin spaghetti
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/2 stick of salted butter
    1/2 cup flour
    4 cups of 1% milk
    1/8 pound of sliced almonds
    1/2 pound shredded cheddar cheese
    1 can of sliced black olives
    1pkg. of sliced baby portabella mushrooms
    1 1/2 pounds of turkey (or chicken) meat, cooked and shredded


Tips

This can be made with turkey or chicken. The nutrition information is with Turkey.


Directions

Cook spaghetti according to package direction. In a large sauce pan, melt butter with salt and pepper. Add flour and mix in. Add the milk while whisking constantly. Cook on Med-high heat until the milk thickens. Add mushrooms and black olives and 1/2 cup of the sliced almonds.

drain the spaghetti and layer in a casserole dish with the sauce. Top with cheese and almonds.

Put in an oven at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
