Collard Greens

Introduction

I used turnip greens for calculating the nutritional facts because they didn't have collards. Commies! :) I used turnip greens for calculating the nutritional facts because they didn't have collards. Commies! :)
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1 bunch collard greens (10c chopped)
    1T olive oil
    1 onion, chopped
    salt
    pepper
    4 cloves garlic

Directions

sweat oil and onions on medium
add greens and chopped garlic, coat with oil. Toss in about 1/2c water for steaming. Cover.
Stir every 5 minutes or so for about 20 minutes.
Add salt and pepper to taste. About 1t salt for us.
Don't undercook these. They are far better overcooked than undercooked.
