IntroductionWorth every one of the 80 calories! Worth every one of the 80 calories!
1 can (approx. 15oz) black beans, drained & rinsed
3 egg whites
3 T. applesauce
1/4 c. cocoa
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 white sugar
pinch of salt
1 t. vanilla extract
1/2 t. cinnamon
1/4 c. chopped walnuts (optional)
-Can top with walnuts or chocolate chips.
-Try adding a teaspoon of instant coffee
-For an indulgent treat, serve with 1/4 cup of lowfat, vanilla ice cream (about 55 cal.)
-Spray an 8X8 or 9X9 pan with cooking spray.
-Place all ingredients except walnuts in blender and blend until smooth. Pour into pan. Top with walnuts.
-Bake for about 30 minutes. Do not overbake.
