Introduction

Slow cooker pork with both pinto and green beans, garlic and potatoes. Slow cooker pork with both pinto and green beans, garlic and potatoes.
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    Pork Tenderloin, 1 piece
    Lea & Perrins, Worcestershire Sauce, 2 tsp
    Onion powder, 1 tsp
    Allspice, .25 tsp
    Pepper, black, 1 dash
    Lemon Juice, .5 fl oz
    Garlic, 9 tsp
    Potato, raw, 5 medium (2-1/4" to 3-1/4" dia.)
    Beans, pinto, 2 cup
    Green Giant Cut Green Beans, can, 2 cup
    Cumin seed, .5 tsp
    Water, tap, .5 cup (8 fl oz)
    Sprite, 8 oz
    Red Pepper Flakes, 2 dashes

Directions

Spray pot with non-stick cooking spray.
Place pork in bottom of pot.
Cut slits in pork.
Add Worcestershire sauce.
Season with onion powder, Allspice and black pepper.
Add lemon juice.
Add minced garlic, pressing it into slits and smearing around pork.
Wash/scrub potatoes and cut into smallish chunks, add to pot.
Drain and add pinto beans & green beans (Alternating between the two to mix 'em up).
Add 2 dashes of red pepper flakes.
Add cumin.
Add 1/2 cup water.
Add 8 oz. Sprite.
Cover and set on Low.
Prior to serving, dig out the pork and shred it, then add it back to the pot and stir it all together.
