1 lb. turkey italian sausage or ground turkey or beef ( 93% lean )
1 can cream of mushroom soup ( low fat )
1 onion chopped
1 cup uncooked long grain rice
1 cup water
1 envelope onion soup mix
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese ( 2% Milk fat )
Preheat oven to 350* F.
Stir in soup, onion, rice, water and soup mix. Mix well.
Spray 13 x 9 x 2 baking dish with cooking spray.
Cover with foil; bake 1 hour at 350.
Uncover. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake another 5 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
