A great hearty soup.



Number of Servings: 36

Ingredients

    2 lbs ground beef
    2 large onions, diced
    8 cloves garlic, crushed
    4 celery stalks, diced
    1/2 tsp. hot crushed pepper flakes
    1 c. red kidney beans (cooked)
    1 c. great northern beans (cooked)
    2 tsp. Italian seasoning (or more to taste)
    2 cans stewed tomatoes
    fresh or dried parsley to taste
    water/tomato sauce yo desired thickness and amount of broth is met.
    2 cups ditaloni rigati pasta (cooked)

Tips

Note: Pasta will swell the longer it is in soup.


Directions

Saute beef, onion, garlic, celery and hot peppers. When meat is thoroughly cooked add rest of ingredients except pasta. Bring to a boil or stew all day. Add cooked pasta to the soup before serving. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
