Submitted by: SAASHA17

Introduction

This is my maternal grandma's recipe. I love the strong pepper taste. and it makes a great dish for cold winter days. I usually eat it with rice or just like a soup. U can reduce the water and make it curry like too. This is my maternal grandma's recipe. I love the strong pepper taste. and it makes a great dish for cold winter days. Grind them into a dry coarse powder. I prefer black pepper corns if possible to grind freshly but could not find it on spark nutrition list. Then pressure cook the toor dal and green beans till done. Then add the tamarind paste to some water (depends on what consistency u need) and then after boiling add the chopped onions and ghee to it and add the powder mix and add the green beans and toor dal. and cook till done...
