Sweet and Sour Sauce

Introduction

Number of Servings: 16

Ingredients

    3/4 cup vinegar
    1 1/4 cup sugar
    2 tsp. soy sauce
    1 tsp. salt
    1 cup chicken stock
    1 clove garlic, finely diced
    1/4 cup cornstarch
    1/4 cup cold water
    1 can crushed pineapple

Directions

Mix the vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, salt, chicken stock, and garlic in a saucepan, and bring to a boil. Mix cornstarch in cold water (separately). Add cornstarch and water to the sauce to thicken. Bring to boil again and cook until clear. Add pineapple.


Serving Size: Makes about 16 servings of 1/4 cup each
