Rainbow Fruit Smoothie

Submitted by: RAINBOWCHARMER

Introduction

A rainbow of fruit in a smoothie that is healthy and tastes delicious! A rainbow of fruit in a smoothie that is healthy and tastes delicious!
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

Organic strawberries (frozen) - 1/4 cup
Organic blueberries (frozen) - 1/4 cup
    Pineapple (frozen) - 1/4 cup
    Raspberries (frozen) - 1/4 cup
Fresh Orange (peeled and sectioned) - 1 each
    V8 fusion juice - 1/2 cup
Stonyfield Fat Free French Vanilla yogurt - 1/2 cup
Flax seed (ground) - 2 TBS
    Lime juice - splash
    Lemon juice - splash

Tips

I typically make this at night and put it in the fridge for my breakfast in the morning. When I wake up, I pop it into the freezer so it's very cold by the time I leave for work. This is perfect to take with me on the go. I have a large tumbler purchased at Target that holds about 2 cups, and this fills it right to the top. It's super easy, very delicious, and gets me through my morning. I happen to use organic for strawberries and blueberries because they are in the "dirty dozen" listing, and I am trying to avoid the highest known contaminated items. But feel free to substitute whatever makes you happy! Swap out the fruits for anything in season or whatever you like, and enjoy!
