12 outer leaves from cabbage
1/2 C chopped cabbage
1 lb lean ground turkey
1/4 C finely chopped onion
1/4 raisins or dried tart cherries
2 Tbs dry bread crumbs
1 C spaghetti sauce
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
Try using different dried fruit to your own taste. I love this with the tart dried cherries.
Spay a large non stick skillet with cooking spray and cook ground turkey, onion, the 1/2 C chopped cabbage until meat is no longer pink and onion is tender.
Stir in raisins, bread crumbs and 1/4 C of the spaghetti sauce.
Spoon in a scant 1/4 C of the meat mixture onto each cabbage leaf, fold in sides and roll up leaf forming a bundle. Arrange rolls in a 2 quart rectangular baking dish.
Stir together the remaining spaghetti sauce and cinnamon. Pour over cabbage rolls.
Bake covered in a 350 degree oven for 25 minutes, or until heated through.
