Introduction

A moist cookie using applesauce and less fat. Sweetened using splenda sweetener. Only sugar is from sweetened carob chips. My husband and Son love the taste of these cookies. Number of Servings: 36

Ingredients

    1/2 cup county crock margarine
    1/2 unsweetened applesauce
    3/4 cup splenda
    3/4 cup brown splenda
    2 eggs
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1 1/2 cup white flour
    3 cups oatmeal
    1 cup chopped walnuts
    1 cup sweetened carob chips

Tips

If using small cookie scoop walnuts need to be chopped a littler smaller for each cookie to have equal walnuts in them.


Directions

Blending margarine,applesauce, sugar substitutes, eggs, vanilla together. One item at a time than blend with mixer. Next add baking soda, cinnamon, white flour than mix. Stir in oatmeal, carob chips, chopped walnuts
bake for 11-12 minutes.

Serving Size: makes 96 cookies using small cookie scoop.
