Introduction

Its an old family recipe, but I make this soup when I desire some soup! Soup is great any time. Its an old family recipe, but I make this soup when I desire some soup! Soup is great any time.
Number of Servings: 3

Ingredients

    10 baby carrots (sliced small) ,
    1/2 cup of dry barley,
    2 bouillion cubes (chicken or beef),
    one large potatoe chopped to 1/2 inch size,
    2 stalks of celery (sliced to 1/2 inch size) ,
    one large onion (chopped to small sizes)
    and 1/4 cup of vegetable macaroni.

Tips

Always add potatoes, macaroni and barely last ! So they dont overcook!


Directions

Add onion to pot , the 3 and a half cups of water, bouillion cubes (2) add carrots, celery, a dash of oregano and cook for about 5 minutes; then add potatoes, and barely and macaroni , and cook down for 10 to 12 minites or until barely is cooked. Barely takes longer than potatoe! watch pot so you dont burn it! When carrots, and barely are soft, can take off burner and serve hot. Makes 3 cups of soup. Only take 15 minutes to cook!

Serving Size:  will make about 3 cups of soup
